Krupa Sagar developed the mobile game Wordingo: Word Puzzle as a free game.

This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, shared, retained, and deleted when you use the App.

1. Audience

Wordingo is intended for a general audience, including both adults and children under the age of 13. We apply additional safeguards to users identified as children and comply with applicable child privacy requirements.

Where age is relevant to privacy or advertising treatment, the App may use an age-screening mechanism. Users identified as children, and users whose age is unknown where required, are given additional privacy protections.
 

2. Information We Collect

a) Information You Provide

• Name, email address, user ID, or profile details, if you choose to create or use an account and those details are required by the login system.

b) Automatically Collected Information

• Device type, operating system, app version, and similar technical information.

• IP address and network-related information that may be processed when the App communicates with online services.

• Gameplay and account information necessary to provide game functionality, such as game progress, matches, multiplayer activity, and related interactions.

• This version of Wordingo does not use the Android Advertising ID (AAID).
 

3. How We Use Information

We may use information to:

• Provide and maintain single-player, player-vs-player, and player-vs-AI features.

• Enable account login, multiplayer, and social functionality.

• Save and manage game progress and account-related data.

• Improve gameplay, stability, performance, and user experience.

• Enable friend invitations through shared game links.

• Maintain security, prevent abuse or fraud, and comply with legal obligations.

4. Children's Privacy

Because children are included in Wordingo's target audience, we take additional measures designed to protect child users and to comply with applicable laws and Google Play Families requirements.

For users identified as children, and for users whose age is unknown where required:

• We limit data collection and processing to what is permitted and necessary for the App.

• We do not use personalised or interest-based advertising or remarketing in this version of the App.

• This version of the App does not use or transmit the Android Advertising ID (AAID).

If we learn that personal information from a child has been collected in a manner that requires parental consent and such consent was not obtained, we will take appropriate steps to delete the information. Parents or guardians may also contact us using the details in Section 13.

5. Third-Party Services

Wordingo uses the following third-party services to provide core game functionality and purchases. These services may process information in accordance with their own privacy policies:

For child users, these services are used only as necessary to provide permitted game functionality and must be configured or restricted as required by applicable child privacy and Google Play Families requirements. Third-party providers may retain information under their own retention policies.

6. Social and Sharing Features

• Users can invite friends by sharing a game link through services such as WhatsApp.

• A shared game link may contain an identifier or referral information necessary to support the invitation or gameplay feature.

• Wordingo does not directly access or read your WhatsApp contacts, private messages, or message content merely because you use the sharing feature.
 

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Information may be shared with service providers where necessary for app functionality, multiplayer services, backend/account services, purchase processing, security, or legal compliance, subject to the age-related safeguards described in this policy.
 

8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the App's services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security, and enforce applicable agreements. Information processed by our service providers may be retained in accordance with their applicable retention policies. When information is no longer required, we will delete or anonymise it where reasonably possible.

10. Data Deletion and Account Deletion

Wordingo provides users with the ability to delete game data or permanently delete their account and associated data directly within the App.

11. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights concerning personal information, including rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection to certain processing. You may also have privacy and advertising choices through the App, Google Play, third-party consent interfaces, or your device settings. Parents or guardians may make appropriate requests concerning a child user. To exercise a right relating to information we control, contact us using Section 13.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to Wordingo, our service providers, legal requirements, or our data practices. We will post the updated policy and revise the Last Updated date above. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent for material changes.
